New School Block for Oboyan Community

As part of efforts to improve the standard of Education within the Kwahu East District, the District Chief Executive, Mr. Isaac Agyapong and Member of Parliament, Mr. Bryan Acheampong -Minister of State in charge of National Security- on Friday, the 23rd of March, 2018 cut sod for the construction of a 3- Unit Classroom Block with ancillary facilities at Oboyan D /A Junior High School.

The construction of the school building was in fulfillment of a promise the Member of Parliament made to the people of Oboyan during the 2016 election campaign.

The project is expected to be completed within six (6) months per the contract agreement and the contractors are Zip-Tic Ventures, construction firm in Kwahu.

The Chief and people of Oboyan expressed their gratitude to the District Chief Executive and the Member of Parliament for fulfilling their promise to them. They further assured the Member of Parliament and District Chief Executive to take good care of the facility when completed.
