Some residents and drivers of C Conny, a suburb of Gbawe-Zero, have called on the government to as a matter of urgency construct the only road that link their community to neighboring communities.
According to a resident, Mary Essal who spoke to wisetvonline.com, commercial activities in the area comes to a halt anytime it rains “anytime there is a down pour, all commercial activities in the area comes to a standstill. Taxi drivers do not want to come here because of the nature of our roads and when they decide to come they increase the fare”.
A taxi driver at C Conny taxi rank, Paa Kwasi, also said, “I use to go to the mechanic shop once a month but due to the poor nature of the road, I now go there every week and this is affecting my sales and savings. We are pleading with the government to intervene”
